Christadelphians believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God and as such is the only source of knowledge on the nature of God and His plan and purpose with the earth and mankind.

It is our constant concern to use the Bible as our guide in all matters of doctrine and belief and every effort is made to ensure that what we believe and practice is the same as that believed and practised by Christ's followers in the first century.

As a result of our Bible studies we find ourselves at variance with most other Christian sects on such important matters as the Trinity, the Devil, the immortality of the soul, heaven going, infant sprinkling etc.

We believe that God created the Universe as recounted in the book of Genesis.

It is our view that the Bible teaches that Jesus, the Son of God, not God the Son, died as a perfect sacrifice for our sins. By a knowledge of the Gospel as revealed in the Scriptures and belief in Jesus as our Saviour we can share in Christ's sacrifice by being baptised. "He that believeth and is baptised shall be saved" said Jesus. We do not believe that it is possible to earn salvation by our works nor by the extent of our knowledge of the Scriptures. Only by the grace of God and faith in Him can we have salvation. This does not however mean that we have no part to play in this life. If we are to be true followers of Jesus it is necessary to know his teaching and to understand the basis of that teaching, that is, the promises of God contained in the Old Testament.

Christadelphians look forward with eager anticipation to the return of Jesus in the near future, to set up God's promised Kingdom on Earth. When Jesus went up to heaven the angels made the promise that he would return in a similar way. He is coming back to fulfil the promises made to Abraham, to Jacob and to David. God never breaks His promise. This is our great hope. It could be yours.
